What is calculus for???

Its common to wonder why we bother studying maths at all, particularly the more complex and intricate disciplines such as calculus.

However, calculus has many real world applications in all kinds of areas, including engineering, economics and medicine. Knowing how to use it is essential for many professions. Studying rates of change helps scientists predict the spread of disease and helps economists predict how much money they will make.

So don’t write it off as a useless subject- calculus is integral (hehehhehehe i hate myself) to modern day society.
